01

Pre-Care Instructions

Following these steps closely protects your comfort during the appointment and the quality of your healed result.

3 days prior

  • No exercise for 24 hours before the procedure.
  • No blood thinners — caffeine, tea, energy drinks, aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol and similar — for 48 to 72 hours before.

Avoid for 4 weeks prior

  • Tweezing, threading and waxing — we want to use as much of your natural hair growth as possible.
  • Retinol and alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) products — continue avoiding these after your appointment until the brows are fully healed.
  • Brow dye, lamination or tint — any existing colour must be fully faded.
  • Tanning.
  • Chemical peels, microdermabrasion, harsh facials and skin treatments.

Avoid for 2 months prior

  • Botox and fillers near the brow area.
  • Cosmetic enhancements or surgeries near the brow area.

Lip Blush clients: if you have a history of cold sores, you must take antiviral medication (Valtrex) 1–2 days prior to your appointment.

Aftercare

You will leave the atelier with written instructions and, for most services, an aftercare kit. Naz is reachable on WhatsApp throughout your healing weeks — please ask rather than guess.

Permanent Makeup — brows, lips & lash line

Days 1–2

  • Gently blot the area with a clean, damp cotton pad as instructed to lift excess lymph — this prevents heavy scabbing.
  • Apply a very thin layer of the provided aftercare balm. More is not better; the area needs air to heal.
  • Sleep on your back if possible, on a clean pillowcase.

Days 3–10

  • Flaking is normal. Do not pick, scratch or peel — pigment comes away with the scab and leaves gaps.
  • Keep the area dry: no soaking, swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms or hot yoga.
  • No makeup, sunscreen, retinol, acids or exfoliants over the treated area.
  • Avoid heavy sweating and direct sun.

Weeks 2–6

  • Colour will look light or patchy around week two, then return as the skin settles. Judge nothing before week six.
  • Protect with SPF once fully healed — sun is the single biggest cause of fading.
  • Book any touch-up only after the six-week mark.

Lip Blush: keep lips hydrated with the provided balm, avoid spicy or acidic food, drink through a straw for the first two days, and continue your antiviral medication as directed if you are prone to cold sores.

Korean Lash Lift

  • Keep lashes completely dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, sweat or tears.
  • No mascara, oil-based products or eye makeup remover for 24 hours.
  • Do not rub, pull or sleep face-down on your lashes.
  • After 24 hours, brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie each morning.
  • A nourishing lash serum keeps the curl soft and the lashes strong between appointments.
  • Results typically last six to eight weeks, following your natural lash cycle.

Brow Lamination & Tint

  • Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours — no washing, steam, swimming or heavy sweating.
  • No makeup, oils, retinol or acids on the brow area for 24 hours.
  • Do not rub or sleep face-down on freshly laminated brows.
  • Brush into shape daily with a spoolie and apply the provided nourishing oil or serum each evening — this keeps the hairs conditioned and the tint rich.
  • Results typically last four to six weeks. Do not re-laminate sooner than six weeks.

Contraindications & Eligibility

Clients who have any of the listed contraindications are not a candidate for a permanent makeup procedure.

  • Under 18 years of age.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Diseases, infections, or transmittable blood conditions.
  • Susceptible to scarring and keloids.
  • Problematic skin and acne directly on the brow area.
  • Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems and other related medical illnesses that may cause an inability to heal properly from wounds — doctor's note required.
  • Any other serious medical illness — must be approved by a doctor with a note.

Not sure whether you are a candidate? Message Naz on WhatsApp before booking. It is always better to ask first than to forfeit a deposit.
